2. To file a takedown notice (US DMCA / Canada N&N / EU Art. 17 / UK CDPA / Nepal CRA 2059)
Provide a written notice (email is fine) including all of:
- Your physical or electronic signature.
- Identification of the copyrighted work or other right (trademark, design, image, code) you claim is infringed.
- The exact URL(s) on sachaltech.com where the allegedly infringing material is located.
- Your name, address, telephone number and email so we (and the alleged infringer under counter-notice) can contact you.
- A statement under penalty of perjury that you have a good-faith belief that the use is not authorised by the rights-holder, its agent or law.
- A statement that the information in the notice is accurate, and that you are the rights-holder or authorised to act on the rights-holder's behalf.
We will act expeditiously: typically remove or disable access within 24–72 hours of a valid notice, and forward the notice to the alleged infringer where required (Canada Notice-and-Notice).
3. Counter-notice
If your content was removed and you believe in good faith it was a mistake or misidentification, send a counter-notice to copyright@sachaltech.com containing: your signature; identification of the removed material and its prior URL; a statement under penalty of perjury that you believe the material was removed by mistake or misidentification; your name, address and phone number; and your consent to the jurisdiction of a court in your district (or, if outside the US, in Ontario, Canada or Kathmandu, Nepal at our option). We will restore the material in 10–14 business days unless the original notifier files a court action.
4. Repeat infringers
We terminate access for repeat infringers in appropriate circumstances, as required by 17 U.S.C. § 512(i) and equivalent provisions worldwide.
5. Trademarks
“Sachaltech”, the Sachaltech mark and the Sachaltech logo are unregistered (™) trademarks of Sachaltech Pvt. Ltd. with rights asserted in Nepal, Canada and worldwide. Trademark complaints regarding third-party use on the platform should also be sent to copyright@sachaltech.com.
6. Open-source attributions
Our deliverables and this site rely on open-source software whose licences (MIT, Apache 2.0, BSD, ISC, MPL 2.0, etc.) we honour. Source-available components are credited in their respective deliverables' THIRD_PARTY_NOTICES files. To request a copy email hello@sachaltech.com.
7. Bad-faith notices
Filing a knowingly false notice can result in liability for damages under 17 U.S.C. § 512(f), Canada Copyright Act s. 41.27 and equivalent statutes. Do not abuse the process.
