/ About

A studio that ships all over the world.

Sachaltech is a remote-first technology studio with active clients in 30+ countries across North & Latin America, Europe, the Middle East, Africa, Asia and Oceania. We hold two legal entities — one in Toronto, Canada and one in Kathmandu, Nepal — so we can contract under the law your buyer or investor already trusts. Where we deliver from is wherever your project needs us.

Kathmandu and Toronto

Our mission

To be the most trusted technology partner for ambitious founders and operators — combining engineering excellence, AI fluency and sharp business strategy under one calm, founder-led studio.

How we work

  • 01 Discovery & strategy before a single line of code.
  • 02 Small senior teams. No layers, no handoffs, no surprises.
  • 03 Weekly demos, transparent pricing, async-first communication.
  • 04 We stay after launch — operate, improve, grow.

/ Origin story

Built by operators, for operators.

Sachaltech started the way every honest studio starts — with a frustration. After years shipping software inside enterprise teams, agencies and venture-backed startups, the founding team kept seeing the same pattern: brilliant founders paying premium rates for the wrong thing. Decks instead of products. Layers of account managers between the client and the people writing the code. AI demos that never reached production.

We rebuilt the model around a single rule: the people designing your product are the people building it. No handoffs, no juniors thrown at senior problems, no dashboards designed to obscure progress. A small senior team. Weekly demos. Code you own from commit one. Pricing that doesn't move when scope is honest.

From the first client to today, we've shipped across SaaS, e-commerce, fintech, healthcare, education and industrial — for solo founders, Series-A teams, family businesses and government-adjacent organisations. The throughline is the same: clarity over theatre, and an obsession with the boring details (latency, billing edge cases, accessibility, audit logs) that separate software people trust from software they tolerate.

Today the studio runs as a remote-first network with two legal homes — Toronto, Canada and Kathmandu, Nepal — and engineers, designers and AI specialists collaborating across time zones. We hire for taste, judgement and the willingness to disagree well.

/ Operating principles

Six rules we don't break.

Principle 01

Strategy before pixels

Every engagement starts with a written brief — ICP, success metric, architecture and risk register — agreed before we touch a tool.

Principle 02

Senior, small, accountable

A pod of 2–4 senior people, no project managers in the middle, the same humans on day 1 and day 90.

Principle 03

Weekly working software

We demo a deployable build every Friday. No waterfalls, no two-month silences, no surprise invoices.

Principle 04

Production-grade by default

Auth, RBAC, audit logs, observability, accessibility and security baseline — built in, not bolted on later.

Principle 05

AI where it earns its keep

We use AI to compress timelines and unlock features — never as a sticker on the homepage. If it doesn't survive a production test, it doesn't ship.

Principle 06

Stay after launch

We operate, measure and improve what we ship. The handover is gradual; the relationship outlasts the contract.

/ What we build

Three disciplines, one studio.

We deliberately stay narrow. Every Sachaltech engagement is some combination of these three disciplines — pulled together by the same team so nothing falls between the cracks.

Software engineering

Web apps, mobile apps, internal tools, APIs, ledgers, marketplaces. TanStack / React on the front, Postgres + edge runtimes on the back. Type-safe end to end.

  • Multi-tenant SaaS
  • Headless commerce
  • Realtime + APIs
  • Migrations & re-platforms

Applied AI

Practical AI features that ship: assistants, search, classification, document understanding, voice. Evaluated, monitored and budget-aware — never demo-ware.

  • RAG over private data
  • Agents with guardrails
  • Eval & observability
  • Cost & latency tuning

Business engineering

Pricing, packaging, onboarding, lifecycle, ops automation and the dashboards founders actually look at. Software is the lever; revenue is the goal.

  • Pricing & packaging
  • Activation & retention
  • Ops automation
  • Founder dashboards

/ Worldwide delivery model

Time zones as an asset, not an obstacle.

We are remote-first by design and worldwide by demand. With engineering and design talent rotating across hubs, work moves on your project even when your office is dark. Every engagement is staffed with at least one senior in your working hours, plus follow-the-sun coverage for incidents and reviews.

Contracting is your choice: under our Canadian entity for North-American banking and standard NDAs/MSAs, or under our Nepalese entity for South-Asian invoicing and long-running engineering partnerships. Data residency, sub-processor lists and DPAs follow whichever framework your buyer or regulator expects.

We currently work across 30+ countries on six continents, with active engagements in English, Nepali, Hindi, French, Spanish, Portuguese, German, Arabic and Bahasa. On-site time is included for kickoff, launch and key reviews when it materially changes the outcome.

Founder & CEO · MBA

"We didn't start Sachaltech to be the cheapest option. We started it so a non-technical founder anywhere in the world could ship software they're proud of, with the same senior people from week one to week ninety."

Deep founded Sachaltech after a decade across enterprise consulting, startup operations and product engineering — with stops at firms in three countries before settling the studio's two legal homes in Toronto and Kathmandu. He holds an MBA with a focus on technology strategy and has personally led 40+ engagements across fintech, healthtech, climate and industrial software.

/ Team & culture

Senior, small, calm.

Engineering

Full-stack engineers fluent in TypeScript, React, Postgres, edge runtimes and the boring discipline of writing software that survives audit. We hire for judgement, not framework allegiance.

Design & product

Product designers who write, prototype and reason about retention — not pixel-pushers. Every screen is judged by whether a real user finishes the job.

AI & data

Practitioners who've shipped LLMs to production with real evals, real budgets and real users. We know when AI is the right answer and, more importantly, when it isn't.

We work async-by-default with two anchored sync windows per week, document decisions in writing, and treat working hours as a non-negotiable. Burnout doesn't ship better software.

/ About — common questions

Things founders ask before signing.

Q01Where are you actually based?

We're a remote-first studio with two legal entities — one in Toronto, Canada and one in Kathmandu, Nepal — and active engagements in 30+ countries. The cities are for governance and contracting; delivery happens wherever your project needs us.

Q02How big is the team?

Intentionally small. A typical engagement runs with 2–4 senior people end-to-end, with specialists pulled in for AI, security, design or compliance when a phase calls for it. You get the same humans on day one and day ninety.

Q03Do you work with non-technical founders?

Most of our clients are non-technical operators or domain experts. We translate business intent into shipped software, run the technical decisions, and explain trade-offs in plain language so you can make calls confidently.

Q04What does pricing look like?

Fixed-scope phases for clearly defined work, retainers for ongoing build/operate, and hybrid for evolving products. We share a written estimate after a paid discovery, with no surprises mid-engagement.

Q05Do we own the code, designs and IP?

Always. You own everything from commit one — code, designs, infrastructure, training data and model artifacts. We retain the right to reuse generic patterns and our internal tooling. Standard NDAs and IP-assignment language included.

Q06How do you protect our data?

Encryption at rest and in transit, secrets in vault, RBAC + MFA on every system, audit logs, dependency scanning in CI, SOC2-aligned controls and regional data residency on request. Sub-processors documented and reviewed.

/ About

A boutique studio shipping software, AI & ventures — to clients all over the world.

Sachaltech is a senior-only product studio. We engineer software, AI systems and business operations for founders, operators and enterprises in 30+ countries across North & Latin America, Europe, the Middle East, Africa, Asia and Oceania. Every engagement combines product strategy, design, full-stack engineering and applied AI in one team — no hand-offs, no agencies in the middle.

For governance and contracting, we hold two legal entities — one in Toronto, Canada and one in Kathmandu, Nepal — so we can sign under the law your buyer or investor already trusts (Ontario / federal Canadian law: PIPEDA, CASL, Ontario CPA; and Nepal Companies Act 2063). Where we deliver from, however, is wherever your project needs us.

On this site you can match a deal in the Investor Deal Matcher, compare twelve sectors side by side on /investors/industries (with a one-click PDF deck of the sectors you tick), read in-depth articles on how each part of the studio works, or join the team via careers.
